1. Dmitri Kharine played in the Premier League, but which team did he play for?
· Chelsea. Dmitri played 146 times for Chelsea and was replaced by Ed De Goey. He also appeared in the 1994 FA Cup Final where Chelsea lost 4-0 to Manchester United.
· West Ham. Ludek played for the Hammers 374 times in his career, and was their goalkeeper in the first season of the Premier League.
· Neville Southall. Peter Schmeichel scored for Aston Villa (v Everton) Brad Friedel scored for Blackburn Rovers (v Charlton). Paul Robinson scored for Tottenham (v Watford).
· David Seaman. David Seaman had 141 clean sheets to his name in the Premiership, and was surpassed by David James whilst playing for Portsmouth.
· Nigel Martyn. Nigel Martyn played for 3 teams in the Premiership. He played for Crystal Palace, Leeds United, and finally Everton.
· Leeds United. Lukic played first for Leeds, but Arsenal signed him in 1983 to replace Pat Jennings who was later sold to Leeds when a certain David Seaman was signed. Then in 1996, Nigel Martyn was signed for Leeds, and Lukic was displaced and went back to Arsenal as a number 2 to Seaman, but was later replaced when Arsenal signed Alex Manniger. This left Lukic as a 3rd choice goalkeeper.
· West Ham United. Lama played for West Ham during the 1997-98 season. However, at the end of the season he tested positive for cannabis and ultimately lost his place in the France team in the 1998 World Cup to Fabian Barthez.
· Newcastle United. Pavel had two spells with Newcastle. He played with them from 1991-98 and from 2004-2007. Pavel played for Wednesday between 1998 and 2000, and played for a short time with West Ham in 2004.
· Neil Sullivan. On the opening day of the 96-97 season, Beckham then playing for Manchester United in a match against Wimbledon, lobbed goalkeeper Neil Sullivan, a Welsh international with a exceptional lob from inside his own half.
